December 21st is an important day not only because of the Winter Solstice, but also due to the fact that a very rare alignment taking place this year. This alignment is know as the Great Conjunction*

*A conjunction occurs when two planets appear to meet each other in the sky (as seen from Earth).

Basically, the Great Conjunction marks Saturn and Jupiter moving the closest together that they have in nearly 800 years. This conjunction is taking place in Aquarius, which is the sign of innovation, humanitarianism, and independence indicating that we can expect to see radical change moving forward.

Aquarius is the sign of invention, of seeing things differently, so we can expect that energy moving forward (where past Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions have taken place in Earth signs before and have been more grounded by nature). Some astrologers say that this definitely marks us moving into the Age of Aquarius, as well!

Remember when Eckhart Tolle referred to the New Earth? Well, this conjunction can be seen as the opening of the portal to this New Earth.

Those who are embracing their spiritual growth on the planet will begin to tap into higher frequencies, expedited timelines of manifestations, moving into what some call the "5D" and leaving the "3D".

We will be called to tap into more authentic beings of ourselves and fraudulent behavior, those who are merely pretending to do the work will be exposed — inherently to themselves.

How to Prepare?

This is a POTENT af day when it comes to setting intentions. Before the 21st hits, take some time to think about what you want to be, do or experience next year.

One the 21st of December, perhaps just sit with it. Craft a manifestation ritual, script, meditate, whatever it is that feels good to you when paired with setting intentions. The intentions set today are magnified as they are coupled with such beautiful and rare energy. Don't discount the power of 12/21. There is a portal opening, a spiritual and physical door that you can walk through simply by stating what you want to walk into on the other side.
